Yes, we have to get him back, but jesus, what in the fuck kind of clueless moron do you have to have to get within a DMZ mile of North Korea if you’re an American?
US warns against travel to North Korea. You have to be stuoid to do so. I personally do not think the US Government is responsible for defending stupid. Just like the Marine who crossed the Mexican border with weapons in his posession. STUPID!!
This will just be another talking point for FOX, especially Kimberly Guilfoyle, to knock the President.
Somehow the Words American Tourist, and North Korea don’t seem to go together in my mind.
What does he think he is, a deranged ex Basketball player?
In a related story, Senator Lindsey “Butchmeup” Graham demanded that President Obama apologize for the incident and submit his resignation to a joint session of Congress.
Said Graham, “We all know that Obama’s campaign funding came from North Korea. My expert colleagues at the Foxnews said so! Anyway it is simply unpatriotic, for a political leader to pretend to be something he’s not”…
Perhaps he’s like the other clueless American moron who left his unit in Afghanistan.
American tourist, North Korea? SMH.
I’m thinking either a clueless spy OR a clueless missionary going there to “spread the Good Word.” No way N. Korea has any value of “tourism.”
He does not appear to have gone on any kind of mission work. And the idea that the U.S. would try to infiltrate a Caucasian into NK to spy under a tourist cover is ridiculous. Nor does he appear to have been an alcohol addled attention-whoring ex-athlete.
“…it is also extremely sensitive about how visitors act while in the country…”
You folks in the Republican South shouldn’t notice any difference. Y’all stop in and set a spell.
I can imagine that visiting North Korea is a bit of a nerve-wracking experience.
False equivalence, but thanks for playing our game. Johnny, please tell foolmemore about our lovely parting gifts.
Quick.
Offer Rand Paul in exchange.
I was thinking how unbelievable it is that a place like North Korea exists: extreme suspicion of foreigners; extremely harsh reaction against religious beliefs not shared by the political leaders; and a judicial system that often functions as a political arm of the state to enforce the biases and whims of political leaders rather than as a relatively neutral application of law to facts.
There must be something uniquely deficient about the North Korean people in order for such a society to have developed.
