He should have invited the Warmbler parents as a show of good will.
They could have apologized for accusing Kim. Trump’s attempt wasn’t enough.
So wait are you saying the greatest deal maker in the world couldn’t make a deal?! Why I am shocked! SHOCKED I SAY!
I suspect he may have been more than a little obsessed with Michael Cohen’s testimony. He can’t focus on one event much less two.
Here’s another thing that shocks me that some actually believed Trump could get a deal out of Kim. One has to be truly delusional to buy into that line of thinking.
And it’s only the middle of Infrastructure Week. What will Thursday and Friday bring.
I suspect the U.S. delegation was concerned that Trump might give up everything to get any kind of deal with Kim because of that rat Cohen’s distraction and the subpoenas and indictments that have and that are about to drop on a number of people and entities he’s familiar with.
Trump’s next book, “The Dunce Of The Deal”>
So you could say the last 24 hours haven’t been stellar fur donnie? Poor baby.
Hmmm, someone at DOJ tip him off that holy hell is about to rain down and he better scram ass back here?
Nice to see you again jsfox
Kim got the photo op with the “US President” that implies he’s legit. For nothing. He got exactly what he wanted.
I’m surprised - I thought trump would have given away the house to get his photo op with North Korea.
And it sounds like Kim Jong Un went into this meeting assuming this was the case - and proposed the US completely abandon sanctions now in exchange for a North Korean promise to denuclearize (some sites) later.
It’s a sad thing to say, but I wonder why trump did the right thing in this case and walked away from a terrible deal?
Rumor has it that Trump walked out of the talks in order to distract media attention from the Cohen testimony.
Today’s top story on the BBC’s home page:
Anyway, these aren’t the Trump-Kim talks but the Un-Trump talks.
What? No Trump Towet Pyongyang?
All his walls are crumbling.
snickers
He was somehow (or by somebody) saved from himself
If Trump’s obsession with the Cohen testimony helped keep him from making a bad and dangerous deal, I’ll take it.
“North Korea didn’t torture and grievously cripple Otto Warmbier. I believe them. Why would they?”
Did Trump at least leave cab fare on the night stand?
It’ll be the weekend before he’s back and settled in the U.S. Then, despite this failure on the international stage, and looming issues with all things Mueller/SDNY/Russia, he’ll go golfing.
Trump gave Otto Warmbier's family the middle finger tonight
