She sounded drunk on the tape. And she plays hard. The US Attorney of New Mexico may be investigating her office.

When politicians who make the law feel they are not under the law, it is time for them to resign.

Okay, Iā€™ve listened to the Soundcloud recording now. That is Susanaā€™s I am incredibly pissed off right now voice. The ā€œweā€™re eating peeeeetzah and drinking cokesā€ thing is a little out of character.

I donā€™t think she was drunk on alcohol as much as she is drunk on power. Her sense of personal privilege came through loud and clear. Bill Richardson felt pretty strongly about his privileges as the result of being Governor, but he at least worked to not show that in public. Iā€™m not sure if Susana was tipsy enough not to realize what she was doing or if she just doesnā€™t care who knows exactly how privileged she is in her own mind.

Those tapes are a death knell to any further political ambition she might have.

The call came from the front desk of the El Dorado. The number she gave was the Hotelā€™s, not hers. There are probably more Sally ******'s in Santa Fe than John Smithā€™s.

Besides, as the Governor noted, it is a matter of public record. The only question is how much effort has to be expended to get the information.

In the case of LePage (assuming youā€™re talking about the batshit-crazy Tea Party governor of Maine), more than enough people who didnā€™t like him came out to vote against him. Unfortunately they split their anti-LePage votes between two of his opponents. Not just once, but twice.

Cokes with a lot of rum mixed in. Iā€™ve never been to a ā€œpizza and cokeā€ party that involved chucking coke bottles from the balcony. Typical politician spin, leaving out the alcohol part. Just lame.

Martinez apparently believes that just because she is the governor, she is above the law. Sorry, you get treated just the same as any other drunk and unruly hotel guest. The police were actually very professional. Maybe Martinez could model her behavior from them in the future.

Just the tone of her voice creeped me out. The woman oozes arrogance.

Someone just slipped down the VP candidate short list.

Thatā€™s so unfair to criticize her about the bottles. Martinez, a conscientious recycler, insisted that her guests recycle the bottles and wasnā€™t about to accept the lame excuse that the only recycling bins in the hotel were on the ground floor.
