Good for the Rams players. Good for the NFL support.
Been waiting for a St. Louis team to support Ferguson protests.
Where were the Cardinals and the Royals when we needed them?

NFL finally got one right! As for the police association they should wish in one hand and you know what in the other, and shut their racist mouths.
Good for them. Furthermore, the NFL has no authority over that kind of thing anyway.
The St. Louis police demand an apology. Well too f’n bad. You earned every scorn and criticism that gets heaped on you. You deserve it all and then some. You created that. You built that.
Good move…FINALLY…and for a change.
I imagine if the NFL did take action against those players, there would be an all-out strike by the players union, which represents many black athletes who would stand in solidarity, and with what the SLPA could only dream about having…which is the power over how the NFL gets their profits met. The players still hold the power of the purse over the league when they stand in unison…
Good thing that they didn’t do this in the end zone after a touchdown, however!
"The police group said the gesture was “tasteless, offensive and inflammatory.”
Much like the way the police conduct themselves in the general population.
I respectfully disagree, I think Jim’s comment is right on topic. Why are some NFL displays and gestures are just ducky, then something supportive and meaningful, like this, are under attack?
I thought the point of the story is that the NFL is not attacking this gesture.
I think his point is that others are, and that is perfectly relevant to the conversation.
