“It’s crazy," Sullivan told Bloomberg. "Absolutely, positively most ridiculous thing I’ve ever heard in my entire life. Marco Rubio is the conservative’s conservative."
Two things popped into my head when I read this statement: 1) Awww, come on, lady – you know you’ve heard even more ridiculous things (especially considering you’re in politics); and 2) “Rubio is the conservative’s conservative.” You say that like that’s a good thing. Seriously – today’s “conservatives” are pretty damned obtuse, obstinate, mean and want sick and old people to hurry up and die.

I watched the first two eps of the Man in the High Castle, Blue. I’m hooked!
You will never hear criticism from me when you go after Fiorina though I do sometimes rush to the side of a beleaguered female. I’ve put that tendency on hold in her case.

It’s like how the tealiban right has demonized the word “socialist”, as in the Bernie Sanders context, they are seemingly doing the same thing now to “moderate”.

Rubio: “I am not a moderate. I am more batshit crazy than any other candidate. I am willing to bomb any country, to demean and even kill any person (except the unborn of course).” Could any action say more about where the right-wing vote is at and what the candidates understand as necessary to win them over?

Yeah, isn’t being conservative pretty much the same thing as being stupid and hateful, even racist? Why would anyone want anyone else to know about that, let alone brag about it? It’s like saying “woo, look at me, I had my brain removed and I can still walk and talk!” I suppose those in that condition would not be aware of how they seem to others. Yup, come to think of it, that explains it.
