Is it me or are the folks that bring guns to school always white males?
Great, now Trump will have to call for a boycott of the Newtown, Connecticut schools.
He obviously is not smart enough to be a teacher. If he felt insecure he had other options than to bring a weapon to a school in a town that suffered so great a loss not that long ago.
If he is a gun nut trying to challenge Connecticut laws he may find his right to own a gun soon gone.

Well, I’ll bet plenty of LBGT, Mexican, and Afro - American women, children and men bring guns to school every day, just like this White Supremacist Coward, but all the non-White women, children and men are dead by the time we hear about their “crimes”. They are all criminals so deserve to die instantly. Meanwhile, the Whites like this cowardly maniac walk, laugh, and say “bu bye suckers”.
If I was a parent in the school district, you can bet your ass I would be demanding his resignation.
While the right sees guns in terms of “rights,” the rest of us see them as tools. They are tools for homicide. What business does a teacher have committing homicide? Self defense? Against 12 year olds?
Oh, he thought another insane gun nut would attack? Because so many mass shootings have been stopped by untrained idiots with firearms. (That was sarcasm. Concealed carriers have never added value to a mass shooting situation, as far as I know).
It’s all just a misunderstanding - the NRA issued Mr. Adams a “Good Guy With a Gun” certificate, he just left it in his other flak jacket.
This is so irresponsible. Wonder if this will cost him his job? Seems like it calls his judgement into question in a pretty serious way, and I can only imagine that many parents are going to be livid (and rightly so).
It also made me wonder – how many states don’t actually have any law preventing guns on school property? And how many school districts are there where it’s not against school policy for teachers to carry guns in school? In other words, how many gun-toting teachers are out there on any given day?
If any of my teachers were packing heat, they didn’t let on. But this was back in an era where virtually every boy at my high school carried at least a pocket knife, and quite a few carried bigger folding knives in those little belt-holsters – and no one would have dreamed of suggesting there was anything wrong with it.
I do remember that “switch-blades” were banned, and we were instructed in junior high school on what qualified and what didn’t. Any knife with a spring-loaded blade definitely counted, and a knife with a loose hinge that you could “flick” open much like a switchblade also counted, according to our school. If it took two hands to open the blade you were definitely fine (not that anyone ever checked, of course).
I remember thinking how silly that all was, as if the ability to flick the knife open was somehow what made it dangerous. Even back then I don’t think too many students were fooled about what was behind that distinction – “switchblades” were associated (at least according to the stereotype of the day) with black and brown people in “ghettos,” thus they were automatically assumed to somehow be “worse” than other knives. The same “reason” that crack cocaine was treated as something far more dangerous than powdered cocaine, even though they are basically the same thing.
Out here in Utah, it’s perfectly legal for a teacher to pack heat. You never know when one of those kids is going to show up with an attitude.
Seems like there was a video should white guys holding guns in public places being talked down by cops. I agree that if same person was of color the cops would shoot first and not have to bother asking questions later.

The guy’s a teacher — So, one would suppose he has the ability to learn — If he knows enough to pass all his tests and training to acquire said CC permit, he knows where …or where not … he is allowed to actually have it on him —

Here in Georgia, we’re fixin’ the charge teachers if’n they don’t bring no gun into the classroom.
And can you tell me this: How in tarnation is a teacher expected to discipline them rug-rats if’n he don’t have no firearms?
