If there’s a play on that happening in some betting market smart money would lay a grand on it right now.

Gingrich got tarred and feathered and run out of the House on a split rail— and now he’s pretending he left on a royal sedan chair with four liveried footmen.

I also blame the press… Gingrich has to be the easiest “get” in journalism. He’ll opine on anything, endlessly, on a moment’s notice, to anybody, and without the slightest merit to his opinion. Why is ANYone interested in interviewing him? Seriously.

I always go to Media Matters
They are very effective at exposing the propaganda arm of The Republican Entertainment Complex®™
It’s what they do.
Circulate lies until they become "common knowledge " being forwarded by your crazy old uncle Ray and aunt Nellie

Again, he can’t. He has to order Rosenstein to do it.

I want to thank the Trumpist wing for ‘jumping the gun’ so damn early.

Well done.

Is Rove still employed by Murdoch?

And just wait till a “fired” Mueller testifies in open session before congress, no? With each firing the revelations have gotten juicier and juicier–first Sally Yates, then Comey and if Mueller were to be unleashed…Trump would pay big time.

Yes. As @j.dave pointed out, this is what makes Rove a Nutdip.

If/when Trump fires Mueller, what happens next? Sure, there’s a parallel with Nixon/Cox, but Democrats controlled Congress then, plus I have to believe the political atmosphere is more toxic now, Vietnam notwithstanding. There would be a public outcry, but would it do any good?

So you’re saying he was John McCain before John McCain was John McCain?

Somewhere down the rungs of the ladder there’s a Robert Bork that would do Trump’s wetwork in the event of a slew of principled people refusing the order.

The Independent Counsel law lapsed quite a few years ago. Any protections lapsed with it.

The real question is, can they get away with it? Common sense would say “No,” but recent experience says “Probably.” If so, I think that would properly qualify as a Constitutional Crisis.

He has so much in common with 45, adultery, three wives, a loose association with the truth, unchecked hypocrisy and the inability to take any responsibility. Newt has better hair, though.

This thread from Eric Garland is stunning. If true, Russia with help from Trump and the GOP, literally attacked America.

Gingrich and the RW Wurlitzer are aware now that the entire GOP could soon be on the ropes. Hence, the campaign to discredit and remove Mueller and the Spec. Pros.

If Garland’d story is accurate (occams razor says it is) This is war folks. Buckle up.
