Fuck Boehner and Fuck Ginrgrich.
Just when the two jackasses (Kanye West and Ben Carson) are touting a mutual admiration society, we have Newt and Boehner starting a club for resigned, disgraced Speakers.
Donât forget Denny Hastert.
So says The Man Who Broke America. The Beltway MSM may still worship at his icon in the Temple of Savvy, but history will judge him, and them, harshly.
At least for once, this was a topic Gingrich had some expertise in. The CBS chyron could have said:
Newt Gingrich
Senior Speaker of the House Resignation Correspondent
If anyone is an expert on quitting rather than being kicked out, itâs Neutered
Newt Gingrich: Boehner Announced His Resignation In The âPerfect Momentâ.
ââŚPerfect that there were no criminal indictments coming down on him, forcing him to resign as Speaker of the HouseâŚlike me, frankly.â
If a tree falls in the forest and there is no one to hear itâŚ
If a scumbag pol wrecks the United States House of Representatives and there is no one to inform the populationâŚ
What would have been âperfectâ , would that Boehner not been speaker at all â
Itâs almost certain that the RWNs that drive Boner to quit will help get the next Speaker elected and they will expect him to serve them. When he canât get anything done because of their obstruction and has to turn to Pelosi for votes his days will be numbered.
And Tom DeLay (even though he was only Majority Leader).
I canât see how having the Pope speak in front of both houses of Congress is âthe high point of his Speakershipâ. A nice moment, sure, and pretty much everybody likes Pope Francis, but what did it have to do with Boehner doing his job? This was just a vanity project.
Keep in mind that Newtie Babyâs sole impetus is to get soundbites, quotes and airtime. Newt is all about Newt and nothing about anyone else.
âThe one brief shining moment that was known asâŚScam-a-lotâ
`
Spare us. Boehner was supremely selfish.
His resignation may buy the short-term CR until December, but then itâs back to the wolves.
And since whomever replaces him might as well have a Swastika tattooed on their forehead-- or else theyâll never get the suicide caucus to vote for them-- that means that the December negotiations will be, well, interesting.
Unless he uses the next month to push forward actual spending bills through the entire Fiscal Year, heâs just a coward and a weakling.
Ew.
Not literally, silly!
For Gingrich, itâs always what he doesnât say that expresses what he really means.
What he really means is that, hiding behind the goodwill spread by the Pope, was the perfect way for a snake to claim the high moral ground and slither away.
âAs a friend whoâs been there â who still is there â Mr. Speaker, I offer one suggestion: try not to think about Tip OâNeill.â
