Discussion: Newspaper Skewers Politician Who Threatened Reporter For Printing His Name

Apparently Kirby is an enormous man-baby whose ‘success’ and complete lack of credentials can be laid at the feet of entitlement and the business is grand daddy built.

Despicably unworthy of respect.

He’ll get support, I’m sure, but in my experience people in rural areas don’t like it when someone makes them look unsophisticated, and most of them know perfectly well that a public official can’t demand that newspapers not use his or her name. They’ll wish, however privately, that he’d just kept his mouth shut. That’s my guess.

““Kirby Delauter’s ignorance of what journalism is and does is no joke, and illustrates one disturbing aspect too prevalent in conservatives’ beliefs: That the media are all-liberal stooges hell bent on pursuing some fictional leftwing agenda,” the editorial said.”

Hahaha… This is perfect. Ann Coulter could not have said it any better, if she was bloviating about a perceived “liberal”…

Our hero, Kirby, just forced the librul editors to deny the fictional leftwing agenda, which proves the leftwing agenda is REAL!!! Just like we all KNEW it was!!! Kirby 2016!!!

My mommy always said it was mean to pick on people like Delauter who have Intellectual Disability.

The editor of the Frederick News-Post deserves a raise and a paid vacation.

His take-down of Kirby Delauter is positively epic.

As Mark Twain so aptly observed, “Never get in an argument with someone who buys ink by the barrel.”

Plain and simple - Kirby Delauter is a stupid man.

I can guarantee you that Kirby Delauter had never before heard of the “Barbara Streisand” effect.
Now he has.

Has he ever met Jill Kelley?

There are two types of people politicians shouldn’t piss off. A comedian with his own tv show and a newspaper that buys ink by the barrel.

Maybe it’s the start of treating Teabaggers as they ought to be treated. We can dream, can’t we?
