Discussion for article #242683

So sad. We took a city bus. Much safer and never saw a deer.

This is a tragic story and I feel bad for those affected. In addition, I come to TPM for politics. I don’t need a lesson in peoples cruelty to animals, or the martial problems of Paul Simon or yet another example of “life sucks then you die”. It’s a tough life out there, and everyone already knows it. Let HuffPo & People magazine do this shit, they do it better anyway.

Awful story. Life is risky, It’s not wise to increase the risks.

Well, it is click bait, and you clicked on it.

Worst. Party. Ever.

So sad. You just never know. The deer are on the move this time of year. Be careful out there.

Why is this relevant to TPM?

Even worse with an irrelevant photo of Harley Halloween.

I’d be curious about the helmet thing (no mention in any story if she had one on, or if it was a head injury). Additionally, a wedding dress is not really proper attire for riding on the back of a motorcycle. Speed is also not referenced, potentially a factor also.

Tragic.

As my wife said in her Sunday School class the other day, regardless of what you believe, shit happens in life.

The (Carbondale) Southern Illinoisan reports that…

Bad link, TPM. It points to your homepage instead of the article.

Not to mention, shortest. marriage. ever.

Can we have our gifts back?

Tend to agree. Stuff like this happens all the time. Not worthy of coverage at TPM - more like Huffpo’s speed.

Organ donor?

Such a terrible loss, and it hit close to home because I got up early to sight in my bow this morning then got cleaned up and motorcycled to work one last time. Not bad for Northern WI but the bucks are in rut so gotta watch out.

Paul Simon is in the military? Who knew?

Hitting a deer on a motorcycle bites, at any speed. Even @ 40mph you can get killed.

Oh, I agree. I’m just saying there are many details that have not been released.
