The second email address with a phony name is pretty clearly designed so that Tillerson/Exxon could hide the emails from production in litigation and in response to subpoenas. It would allow Exxonâs lawyers to make weasely claims that they had produced all relevant emails to or from âRex Tillerson.â

Well said. The CEO job probably requires more of an ability to be servile to shareholders, look the other way on environmental or ethical issues, and a willingness to slide knives into the backs of rivals and competitors.

Ah yes, here comes @nickdanger with his red herring to save the day. We are not talking about his alias used for commenting on a blog. We are talking about his use, in his work organization, of an alias at which he received sensitive information, and which was conveniently never disclosed to a state AG in connection with litigation against that organization. Yeah⌠nothing suspicious about that at all. Just totally normal behavior.

I read somewhere - on one of the political blogs probably â that the hollowing out of top assistants in government departments is all part of Bannonâs plan to hollow out the government. The stupidity of this is mind-boggling unless you are a nut who thinks things will be so much better with a lot less government to run this huge nation. Or a nut who just like mayhem and disorder.
