Anybody check Steve Bannon’s cell phone?

Well, Donald’s gone kinda silent on his condemnation of bankers of late, hasn’t he?

Yeah. I wasn’t even aware of it growing up (a gentile, mind you, in the Midwest) in the '80s. My hometown had a gaggle of Nazi skinheads, but they seemed less a menace than a bunch of dumbassed fuckups cosplaying an ugly vision of power and vanished glory. But of course, it was there all along, buried deep, just waiting to resurface.

Yeah I’m ten years older and lived 8-18 in mid-south NC so plenty of animosity toward blacks from my local white christians, with not enough Jewish folks to cause any worries, at least publically that got any mention in the news that I remember.

Can someone at this site recommend a “go to” article that makes some sense of the connection between Trump and this anti-Semitic terrorism? Is it sort of the same thing I see here in South Texas, where the election has emboldened every bigot to act like a bigot, only it’s the alt-right bigots instead of the rednecks in my neighborhood? With the bromance between Trump and Netanyahu and the fact that Trump[ has Jewish in-laws, it appears that the hatred is coming from another source. But who knows? Any recommendations? Update: I found one; haven’t finidhed reading it yet. http://www.rawstory.com/2017/02/former-neo-nazi-warns-that-the-white-supremacist-movement-is-only-growing-bolder-and-more-dangerous/

Josh just posted this. It may help a bit in understanding.

I still credit Palin for inviting these hate-filled ignorant shitheads to come out from behind closed doors and wear their racism and bigotry loud and proud as “Real 'Mericans”.

What we’re seeing today would be unimaginable in most parts of this country 25 years ago.

I wouldn’t be surprised if both 45 and his AG are pressing the FBI to automatically approach these and other incidents like them as Islamic extremism.

Actually, fear and mistrust of “others” is in our DNA. It served our hominid ancestors well in the brutal tribal ages before civilization. We all have to fight these tendencies which requires learning and self awareness, thus explaining why racism etc. is more prevalent in certain segments of our population.

The JCC in New Orleans received a bomb threat. Here’s one mother’s account of how it feels when the center where her child attends school is threatened.

We found out Thursday in New Orleans when the Jewish Community Center — our kids go to school there — received such a threat. It feels scarier than anything I could have imagined. It feels completely un-understandable.

Who would want to frighten, disrupt, and, at worst, hurt or kill my children and their friends, teachers, and coaches, along with the JCC gym goers, cleaning staff, and other workers? How much hatred must consume someone to do such a thing, even as a hoax?

I feel angry, confused, and frustrated. I feel heartbroken that I have not been able to give my children a world that is preoccupied with peace and tolerance.

I’ve been collecting articles, some domestic and afew, like Ha’aretz, from abroad:

The Harrisburg threat doesn’t surprise me. Many yards still with signs for Donnie.

I’m surprised that accusations by Trumpettes against American Muslims for these crimes haven’t been more frequent and louder.

Not that I believe it…but it would be an evilly smart false flag con to split up progresssives if they could hang it on Muslims.

Nothing is as disinhibiting as being drunk on power.

If the connection to Trump gets more MSM coverage this will certainly be the go-to deflection.

I read Josh’s article, but it really seems like Donald isn’t personally anti-semitic, I truthfully think he’s agnostic, but he’s allowing these folks that are to surround him. Why? Maybe because he’s too dumb to realize how much they really hate Jews or maybe because he just doesn’t care or think it’s a big deal. The reason still isn’t clear to me.

guaranteeing that Trump and the racists will remain in control of the federal government…

Because purity freaks like you will take their ball and go home?

Democracy is an uphill battle. Bernie fought hard and got far, Keith almost got in. You want change? Keep working for it and stop the whining.

All of the above.

I really don’t think Trump is capable of mustering empathy.

The face value of “End Israel” is more compatible with the sign he’s holding in that picture.
