Discussion: New Poll Shows Handel Pulling Even With Ossoff In Georgia Special Election

Wrong again Sniffit. Millennial Mind: Why bother when ‘your’ candidate is just another run of the mill Centrist Dem talking incremental politics, much like Hillary. There’s no selling that tired message anymore. You want them to show up and vote? Give them a candidate with a populist message and they’ll show up. God forbid Millennials ask ‘what’s in it for me’.

My guess is Ossoff is ultimately going to lose. The district is heavily gerrymandered and the people there are convinced the Democratic party doesn’t give a shit about them. That is what Fox News and the rest of the white right wing media tell them everyday all day. There is only so far you can take anti-Trumpism without presenting policies and programs that are attractive to the voters in a particular district.

The Democratic party has to move out from its safe districts and traditional constituencies. The only way to do that is to fashion a message attractive to suburban voters, especially younger voters.

The only way to get millennials to vote is to threaten to kick them out of the garage.

Quist?

Are you standing out on your front lawn shaking your fists at the sky? You sound like a senior citizen.

I see the problem: Ossoff has a BS from Georgetown and an MS from the London School of Economics, while Handel has a genuine HS diploma. For the ignorant and uneducated, this is a clear advantage for Handel.
