“I served with Edward R. Murrow. I knew Edward R. Murrow. Edward R. Murrow was a friend of mine. Mr. Todd, you’re no Edward R. Murrow!”

There is a benefit here, tuck chodd now has to go after the gopers or be branded as one of their sycophants thus destroying what little credibility he had left.

The average Kentuckian is going to ask “who the f*ck is Chuck Todd?”

Then they will ask “why do I care what Todd thinks?” They will receive no good answer.

If they know Todd, they will say to their friends “We better get to the polls to vote for Grimes.”

Way to go Chuckie Boy.
How much are the Kochs paying you to carry their water. Or are you just doing it for your Comcast wages?
The only person that you have disqualified from their job is you.

Chuck Todd just disqualified himself as a legitimate host of Meet the Press.

What a joke.

Is it a good idea for Mitch to tout a member of the liberal media implicitly endorsing him?

In Republicanland, cherry picking is a feature, not a bug.

I can’t remember who said it or when, but Americans will vote for someone who is strong but wrong over someone who is weak but right. And nothing conveys weakness more than weaseling out of answering a very simple question. ‘Yes, I proudly voted for this President, twice, because I am proud to be a Democrat and even more proud of the leadership he has provided.’

Just unbelievable how some Democrats ignore this most basic of truths. It makes the candidate look stupid and demoralizes the base. Not good. Not good at all.

You mean, “CHUCK, BOTH SIDES DO IT, TODD”? He’s a clown.

I don’t know, folks. Here we have a woman who’s already won statewide office once in Kentucky, and she seems careful to keep Obama at arm’s length. We also have among us a keen political observer who lives in Kentucky, and she says that’s exactly the right strategy. And yet so many of you are sure that’s wrong, that you know better what Grimes ought to do, that she ought to proudly proclaim that she voted for Obama in an impassioned Capraesque speech and the results, you’re quite certain, will be undisastrous. You’re arguing, with little hesitation or doubt at all, with people in a position to know and with a lot at stake. I just find it curious.

Is this worse for Grimes or Todd?

Who’s better looking?

So do I.

I apologize for every reference I have ever made to McConnell being a turtle.

He reminds me (and I am sure most people here) of another type of reptile.

How did McGovern and Kennedy demoralize the base? Oh that’s right, they didn’t. The Democratic Party simply realized either too few liberals exist or too many of them don’t vote.

Here, here is a legitimate reason to spew all over Mr. Todd. Huntley and Brinkley would piss in Chuck’s chilli.

If I was Grimes I’d put out a counter ad “Mitch McConnell disqualified himself from the Senate job by never doing a day’s work while there.”

Chuck’s the kinda guy who, along with Fox, would zoom IN to FDR’s wheelchair.
