Seems to me that when you have guns in the family, the idea of âconflict resolutionâ becomes extremely warped, at best. You let the gun speak for you and fate take the hindmost.

I propose allowing Nevada, southeastern Oregon, and southwestern Idaho to combine territory and declare an independent state specifically for white people who loves guns and the Bible. They can call it the Christian Aryan Republic of the Republican Avenging Jesus, name their capital Smith & Wesson, and erect statues of Ronald Reagan and Nathan Bedford Forrest in every county. They can make plots of land available for $5.00 an acre to all able-bodied white Christians from the rest of the United States, and U.S. taxpayers will pay their moving costs. They can close down all public schools and make the teaching of evolution illegal, and declare global warming to be a Satanist plot. Ted Nugent can be the first President, and he will open the session of each yearâs legislature by firing a hundred rounds from an AR-15 into the air above their heads. All citizens over the age of four will be required to carry a loaded firearm at all times under penalty of death, including while sleeping, having sex, and bathing.
With the proper incentives, we can look forward to a steady exodus of gun nuts and Bible thumpers to the new paradise over the next decade, and everybody will be happier on both sides.

These folks have a very warped sense of gun safety and of how lethal they are. Guns should never be handled that carelessly. Handing one to a child is asking for tragedy.
Itâs my considered opinion that we should bring back the draft. It would help end the current spate of war mongering if we all had skin in the game. Teach people what guns do and why they should be kept OUT of the hands of idiots.

There is no inanimate object anywhere ever that I wrap my entire identity in as much as these people fetishize their guns. If my neighbor gave me a Christmas card like that, Iâd call the police.

Having watched in my long and varied (female) life a lot of women climbing corporate and organizational and professional and social ladders, my impression has been that many if not most women who grimly dedicate themselves to climb those ladders generally try to âout-maleâ males, exaggerating the competitive actions of men climbing the same ladders. Thereâs always seemed to me to be almost a kind of desperation as those women went all-out to be more macho than the machos, more ruthless than the toughest guy. This is even while they often rather bizarrely also tried to use their female physical characteristics to (apparently) weaken and entice the opposition. Iâve not watched political women but would assume that similar principles would hold. Oddly, a lot of men seemed to like and respect this behavior, or maybe they were just too stupid to see through it; at least they frequently reward it. Often other women tend to trust them because they are women⌠but this is a deadly trap to fall into.
