I don’t consider the Occupied Territories to be parts of the Jewish State. I believe that their continued occupation is a crime
Yeah, on that last thing, one more time:
- I hope any Jews here especially have already contacted their Dem reps about this; the non-Jewish ones need to know where most of us stand, and it isn’t with Bibi.
- If you haven’t yet, PLEASE call your nearest Israeli consulate and voice your outrage about this political stunt; the last thing Israel needs is to become a partisan issue here. Haaretz reports that those calls are having a real impact back home; it’s long past time they heard from American Jews who aren’t right-wingers.
- And finally, if you want an effective counterweight to AIPAC, do look into J Street – the more support they can show, the greater their influence will be.
That’s why I wanted the Jewish to Arab ratio higher. I know that level of emigration is unobtainable.
Fool that I am, I still hope for a two-state solution; but that depends crucially on Israel’s political center and left finally getting their act together. Let us pray.
Indeed.
Just an excuse for more settlements.
Netanyahu spoke at a time of rising tensions with European countries over Israeli settlement activity in the West Bank and east Jerusalem, captured territories claimed by the Palestinians.
We’re not talking about Palestinian “claims” here. These are Palestinian lands which are being illegally occupied by Israel.
Some Israelis believe such criticism has helped fuel anti-Semitism.
Ya think?
Netanyahu is basically saying “get out while you can.” But the audience he is seeking to scare isn’t the European, he is out to further scare Israeli voters.
I also have relatives there with the same hope. At present, it’s hard to see how things will turn around.
That wouldn’t technically be an immigration would it? This is biblical and wacko end times stuff.
This is the precipice but since there is no PPV advertised yet and Tostitos or Verizon haven’t co-opted the title, I have no worries. The end will be in Hi Res, 3D, blue tooth, Wi-Fi, and maybe the biggest televised event in the annals of time.
If it’s not listed in your programming guide or available for subscription, then it just isn’t happening. At least that’s what my direct dial operator tells me.
And BTW, if this massive ‘immigration’ were to occur, where exactly would they all be housed? Oh yeah, right.
Is the Jewish population in Israel even for this call? Seems to me this influx would cost people more taxes and overload the system.
Israel is the only place Jews can feel safe? What about Long Island? Beverly Hills?
Of course there is no anti-Semitism in Israel. Right?
