To be honest, he’d probably get more out of a photo op of him showing up and not being let in. His base would at least lap that up. It’s not like if he actually was inside it’d convince anyone he had a revelation.
Honestly, just when I think I can’t possibly have a lower opinion of this POS, I hear about a stunt like this. He is absolutely beyond redemption.

Their request was refused. When asked to leave, they remained in their seats. It was a stirring moment in the proud history of GOP political outreach.
“The callers were threatening to come over and burn down the building and to shoot up the building,” John Swaine, the museum’s CEO, told the News and Observer. “They’ve lessened in frequency this week, but they’re still coming in.”

This is the kind of blatant racism which we haven’t seen since Wallace.
Any decent candidate would be burning up the lines to denounce these actions and trying like hell to create a separation between a national campaign and these slack-jawed bastards.
But that’s his base.
Where are the responsible establishment Republicans to do an intervention?

Maybe there’s already an exhibit in the museum on the insufferable David Duke and his racist campaign from from some years back. Maybe that’s the backdrop Trump was hoping for.

I would have said no as well, and that was before you told me about the ticket thing. Of course now we’ll be hearing all about who the “real racists” are, since racists have no concept of individual responsibility, but only see black or white.
