Discussion: NBC: No Evidence Trump Actually Forgave $45M Loan To His Campaign

Of course he won’t convert the loan to a donation. Is there potential for a class-action lawsuit by future donors if Trump uses the money to re-pay himself, on the grounds that their donations were contingent on his promise?

Used to be you could easily keep up with succeeding Trump lies in between popcorn to mouth lifts. Now the lies are so quick in succession that these interfere with the lifts, munching and swallowing… Thus confirming “Man cannot live by entertainment alone.”

Trump: “Document as I say, not as I do. That could get you banned from my speeches.”
Clovis: “Trump never said that.”

Actually, I’m kind of pleased that NBC news is following up. This is progress. This is journalism. Hope they keep it up. Perhaps the pack has turned and they smell blood.

Its going to be Christie. The NYT had an article alluding to that today, no doubt “leaked” there by the Trump campaign.

Big surprise.

But it will bring its own set of new questions…like quid pro quo…and of course the ongoing Bridgegate scandal

Seems that the light of day is quite harmful to Trump…

hmmm…what other creature suffers when exposed to sunlight?

I figured it was down to Christie and Gingrich.

Never forget: Never forgave.

Trump Donors will be actually donating to Trump himself, not his campaign. The ultimate Ponzi scheme.

Alternate possibility: In typical Trump methodology, Trump will claim that the Trump campaign did a terrible, subpar job, and refuse to forgive the full amount. Trump will forgive the campaign 5% but offer to do business with them again.

Seems the only things these Trumps are good for is lying, cheating, grifting, stealing and scaremongering.

Well, these days Meg Ryan doesn’t present well except in muted illumination settings.

Wake up sheeple…the Drumpf campaign is one yuuuuge grifting operation, just like Drumpf vodka, Drumpf steaks, Drumpf water, Drumpf Foundation, Drumpf University, Drumpf Institute, Drumpf…you get the picture. Other people’s money is how he’s always paid himself to do business. He never risks his own money. That much has been pretty well established I believe. In a country that should have cared about such things…the man would’ve been in prison on fraud many times over by now you would think. Everything is either giving to charity using other people’s money or giving to himself using his name as a brand to defraud people of their money while paying himself for the licensing rights to use his name based on lies he tells the public.

Yeah, that damned IRS. Hey, wait a minute …

No IRS employee would risk loss of job, pension and risk criminal prosecution to do so. These are professionals, despite the smears from the GOP. Grow up. Trumps tax returns are not going to be released that way.

Here’s an idea, let’s pool some money, hold our noses, and make a contribution to the Trump campaign (how about $10). Then, when he doesn’t “forgive” the debt (or makes repayments after the promised June 23rd date) and uses the money to repay his “loan” we will have standing to sue him for fraud.

Once again we can see that Donald “the draft dodging coward” Trump is planning to steal donations, just like he tried to steal $1million from Veterans.

Gingrich is too outspoken…Trump can’t tolerate that. Christie has proven himself completely willing…even eager…to be his submissive lapdog. That goes a long way in Trump’s estimation. Plus…he wants the job.

A man whose evil spirit approaches that of Trump…one who knows more about how to speak the political language… one whose propensity for fantastic lying is incredible…one who relishes verbal jousting.

I do not believe Christie adds any sense of humanity or moderation to the Ticket

Damn…said Sarah Palin in admiration.

This guy is both a higher version and lower version grifter compared to Palin.
