Did you like Sky Captain and the World of Tomorrow?

And the guy seems to have lived next to a deli!?! Yea, Christie has a problem.

That might explain the Дональд Трамп bumper sticker that mysteriously appeared on my car.

Congratulations and thanks to our brave police force, and our government who supports them, for such fantastic work.

A 3 hr-5 minute movie, even one of exceptional quality, is assured of “flop” status merely by virtue of its length. If by flop we mean failure to rake in “Star Wars” level revenue. There’s a reason 100 years of movie making has distilled the audience’s rough duration of tolerance for movie length to 2 hours, give or take 15 minutes. Deviate from that and attendance and revenue falls off, possibly to “flop” status, if you will.

Yes, I wanted a sequel but Hollywood didn’t like it ether. That last Arnold Terminator was trashed by critics but I loved it, especially coming anew to oldmandom like the former Cali gov and his character’s aging android.
Also, the huge critical push for Will Smith & son’s awful scifi release.
I’d love to know the backstory to this kind of stuff but nothing interesting seems to leak anymore unless its to hackers.

5’6" and 200 lbs; he wasn’t going to blend in forever. Glad to see he was captured alive so now the police can extract all useful information from him.

Now, I want an investigation into Trump’s potential involvement in the plotting of this terrorist attack.
I’m not saying he did it, but a lot of people are.

Seems more a front office problem, a failure of overarching executive guidance on the script or accounting if nothing else. I assume there was paperwork for all those sets, stuntmen and actors?
I still liked it, even at the 3 hour length, and in the current longer, story-heavy environment it’s now more obvious righwing elements could have held audience attention…

Thanks Obama!

Lots of people are saying…believe me… that trump is directly taking credit…(cough)
for calling it a bomb (cough) …but some people are tweeting…
…snark button to off…

What is nonsensical to me is why anyone would want to take credit for anything about this incident. Of course credit is due for the police work and the capture and all but trump had nothing to do with any of it so why the need for credit on his part?. It’s not rational.

Can anyone blame the guy (assuming he actually did it). I mean, he comes to this country from Afghanistan, and gets stuck in Christie-land?

the conservative media will turn up the profiling fear factor. Look for more trump supporters beating up muslims just because of what they look like…

Its great they got this guy alive…

Unfortunately,m like every other part of this campaign yhe Media organizations would step in to bail Trump out.

No tweets, no Trump news. Then what would they report on?

Policy ideas?

WTF is up with Allah these days? 9 stabbed and only the stabber dead? All these bombs and no one killed? Just the perp in the hospital waiting for a cell after he’s better?

I’d like to thank the LEO’s of New York, Mayor DiBlasio, Governor Cuomo, President Obama, Secretary Clinton, and all of those who soberly said for us not to panic and let the LEO’s do their jobs. Thanks to their honest and even-handed leadership, this episode has seemingly come to a quick conclusion.

Thank goodness we have the kind of honest, level-headed leadership it takes to handle situations like this instead of running around with one’s hair on fire, proposing to violate the constitutional rights of millions and jump to crazy, scared conclusions.
