Gallows humor, baby… What else do we have…
When they go low, we go gallows.
Hey, how 'bout those Istanbul cats huh?
Dick head I work with was tying to tell a younger coworker, that I doubt pays attention to political shit, that none came through the mail. The other day at lunch he was trying to tell me Sir Walter Raleigh had be to the US even though I told him I was pretty sure not. He later googled it and found out I was correct! I was thinking he didn’t know what he was talking about on the packages too.
Aw, they were cheering me up last night. The people too. My folks were there a couple of decades ago but I’ve never been anywhere near. Would love to see it, though.
I was thinking Erick may have send the packages to get dad’s attention, then I realized he’s too dumb to make the bombs.
There’s a small ruin in the center of Rome ( duh! ) that is the Cat Place. I would say 100+ cats live there and the elder ladies of the neighborhood are very happy to keep them in the style to which they’ve become accustomed. It seems to be a thing in Europe. I like it. Would love to see Istanbul too.
zip code 33480 … by any chance ? ? …

My sister has a photo of stray cats in Rome eating spaghetti.
Man, from that angle the place looks hideous. Tacky and stupid. No, I’m not surprised.
I was going to say, at first glance I thought it was hurricane damage.
That would be a way to track down a good restaurant if mediocre food existed there.
Spoiler alert - it doesn’t.
I learned when I was age four or five that the USPS won’t deliver a letter if you just address it “DAD”. Eric might not be there yet.
It’s not THAT bad … really … is it ? ? …
It’s not like donnie’s out at the pool in a speedo ----
Honestly it’s unflattering because the light is flat, and it’s too far away for any tropical charm to be happening. All you see is the fakey overdoneness, like a movie set or theme park thing. It usually looks at least pleasant if there were no Trumpites around.
It’s faux-everything. So yea.
Well, sheesh, that’s not a fair comparison, if he appeared that way in the Sistine Chapel they’d bulldoze it and build a new one across town.
I …actually … don’t think that that is even possible… for me anyway —
my mind just doesn’t have a dark setting that low —
Seriously, attacking the Khans was worse. Just unheard-of. Their son died saving the rest of the people on his team. Just appalling. He’s really capable of anything. We joke but really he is.
