You’re still trolling. The only time Obama mentioned it in the context of “workplace violence” was in the early stages when the FBI was still gathering facts.

Via CNN:

“It is possible that this was terrorist related, but we don’t know. It’s also possible that this was was workplace related,” Obama said, adding that more conclusions will be drawn after the FBI conducts a large number of interviews.

He merely brought up workplace violence as a possibility along with terrorism.

What we do know now is that the shooter had gotten into a really heated argument over Islam with a co-worker who was a Messianic Jew. So it turned out to be both workplace violence and terrorism, making Obama right on both counts of his speculation.

But it appears you enjoy taking his words out of context to provoke your own outrage. Don’t worry, you’re not alone in this regard. I’ve seen rank and file conservatives AND liberals resort to such self-deception in case you’re going to throw the weak ‘liberals do it too’ in retort.

I do not equate asking thoughtful questions of those who are in OUR employ with trolling! Do you ALWAYS agree with everyone on this board and think the way think? Are you an independent thinker and come to conclusions on your own or do you depend on others to think and form opinions for you?

I am skeptical of ALL those in government, not just republicans or democrats…That is the difference between myself and others here. Obama doesnt get a pass just because he is President or a democrat or black. He should be held to a high standard regardless of his station.

Even though you didn’t provide the context for which he mentioned the shootings as workplace violence, making it appear like he was deliberately trying to call it anything but terrorism? Sure guy, but that’s not ‘thoughtful questions’. That’s a deliberately mis-representative question.

I detest the group think I often see around here as much as anyone and how stubborn and unreceptive some can be to differing opinions. But what I saw from you was deliberate misrepresentation, which I abhor just as much and I’ve also seen a lot of around here, unfortunately. That’s why I mentioned how I’ve seen both sides do it.

There are many issues I’ve had with how Obama’s governed, I don’t give him a pass for anything. But at the same time, I won’t deliberately misrepresent his position on a particular issue either, like I saw you doing here.
