I think it likely that the reason why the Dems aren’t calling for Comey’s head (right now, anyway) is because they don’t want to rattle the boat with the electorate by starting a fight with the FBI. Not this close to the end, when their internal tracking numbers are probably telling them it’s in the bag for them.

I agree. Now is not the time.

And there has to some concrete evidence to go with all the outrage at Comey. You can’t just go after him because you’re mad at him. There’s all kinds of process involved and there is also that delicate balance between the branches.

What is your better solution, change the name of the FBI to the Federal Bureau of Innuendo? If Comey isn’t man enough to follow the Bureau’s procedures in the face of some Congress Critters he needed to go yesterday.

Tightening the noose.

That’s exactly what Obama and Nancy have done. Harry tied the noose with his wonderfully enraged statement about Trump and Russia. Obama and Nancy are just very sweetly tightening it and I don’t think Comey is going to say one more word before the election.
