Discussion for article #243714
I wish this would get done, I would really like to see if that loud mouth of a prick gets out of this. Just seems like bs that he didn’t know anything about what was going on. Either way very glad I don’t live in Jersey.
Christie doesn’t give a shit how much it costs the State of NJ. Hell, he’s barely there anymore, anyway. All the same, I hope they throw the fucking book at that fat slob when all the legal wrangling is said and done…
Christie is a prime example of what unmitigated corruption in politics looks like. The guy is mobbed up. No question in my mind.
So it’s just the lawyers who want 8 million. When do all the commuters who spent extra hours on their commute get to bill?
No worries. I’m certain Christie will get a lot of that money back in campaign contributions. NJ taxpayers, on the other hand, well, you did vote him in.
And he had a pattern of living large at taxpayer expense as US attorney.
$8M and all they have is blank computer chips and confetti paper. Damn, NJ.
I don’t know about Gibson Dunn but Christie, he’s definitely done. Like a dried out rump roast even.
Mr abuser of the public trust for President YAY!
Eight megabucks from the NJ budget wasted because he is guilty as hell; or unaware at a criminal level. Sigh, he is just another perfectly acceptable Republican candidate to ruin the Presidency too.
Maybe Christie ate the eight mill or has a very large money belt on?
So for 8 million you get lawyers that don’t even take notes?
Yo’ Gov?
You could have been the ® candidate for POTUS–
if not for the placement of some orange traffic cones.
Hoping that simple analogy haunts him till…

The law firm of Gibson Dunn has billed New Jersey roughly $8 million since it was hired to defend Gov. Chris Christie and others from legal challenges stemming from the 2013 lane closures.
Man, someone could buy a lot of Yodels, Ring Dings, and Devil Dogs with that kind of money.
The easy payroll deduction plan applies to personal expenses billed to taxpayers, right, Governor? PAY UP!
