“He accidentally brought the wrong bag to the airport and didn’t realize his gun was in it. In 2015, TSA discovered 2,653 firearms in carry-on bags at airport checkpoints across the country, the majority of whom cite as a reason that they forgot their gun was in the bag.”
And this is the main problem. Anyone so cavalier about guns that they forget where they are shouldn’t be allowed to have guns. Yet these are exactly the people who acquire lots of them.
For starters, Gorka speaks with such mesmerizingly freakish/unnatural accent and resonance. He probably just hypnotizes that simple-minded bunch of bozos in the White House. Check out the NPR piece from February:
These guys all have the mentality of 14 year old cheetoh stained ratwing internet trolls. That’s essentially all that they are - ratwing internet trolls. They spend more time thinking up aliases to post shit under than they do trying to understand how to do their jobs and that’s all they’ll ever do = troll.
Among those changes, “Sk-Gorka” wrote: "He accidentally brought the wrong bag to the airport and didn’t realize his gun was in it. This report missed one of the edits. When the above was initially added, it read “I accidentally brought the wrong bag…”
The “I” was then changed in a subsequent edit to “He”.
Hmmmm, can you imagine how freaking funny, in a SAD sort of way, it would be to see a user called DJTMyHandsAreNOTSmall editing the Donald J Trump page? Not that that particular user would be able to figure out how to edit a wiki page in the first place… but if he could, the results would undoubtedly be hilarious.
I did see that. I mean, you know by the company he keeps that Gorka’s real name is Klownyás McKlownuzka, but that was still funny. Where do they get these people, seriously? Trump simply lives in a universe where excellence violates the laws of physics. He’s never seen it, experienced it, it’s utterly beyond his ken.
They’re the culmination of the decades-long Limbaughfication/Foxification of the right: in retrospect, it seems inevitable that a cohort so groomed would eventually elect one of their own, someone who doesn’t just exploit their gullibility but actually believes most of the same crap they do. And of course that guy would surround himself with the kind of people his “news” sources exalt. (Whose ideas, conveniently enough, conform exactly with his long-time prejudices and generally bode quite nicely for his bottom line.) A walking, talking Breitbart comment thread has formed an administration true to the most extreme caricature of what we’d have imagined he would.
