“Mulvaney: A ‘Good Shutdown’ Would Prove Trump’s Point About Dysfunction.”

The only thing it would prove, you mendacious moron, is that Republicans cannot govern.

“I get that frustration because I think it is a terrible posture for the Democrats to take,” he continued.

“Why can’t they just go along to get along, as the Republicans did during the Obama administration?,” he added.

At its core, Mulvaney’s argument is that the Senate should do away with the filibuster and pass everything with a simple majority (which they now have). His threat is to force a government shutdown unless that occurs. Of course, Mulvaney forgets that the Republicans will not always be in the majority - the pendulum swings both ways. And when that happens and the Democrats vote to overturn all of Trump’s initiatives and dismantle the wall, I am sure Mulvaney and his ilk will sing a different tune.

Sounds like the Democrats got under his skin. Good.

I think a “frustrated” tRump is a very dangerous tRump. He would love a wide open playing field where rules do not apply. As ugly as it sounds, he would love his own 9/11so he can commandeer the unfettered power he craves.

Well, I can’t be objective about him because I so admire his stock=-market savvy. Phooey. I think Price and Mickey is a tie, because given the opportunity I think Mickey is just as venal. It’s a close one though. If Pudzer hadn’t pulled out he’d have been a formidable contender.

So, miracle of miracles, Trump sits in the WH, Republicans have majorities in the House and Senate, they get a new soulless judge to sit on the SC, and they’re threatening a ‘shutdown’, a ‘good shutdown’ don’tcha know. Because everything’s a ‘mess’ and they’re mad. And Ivanka’s mad at daddy too.

Things are looking up. Wait! Is that James Comey I see on the WH steps with what looks like a fist full of indictments!

To be continued…

Uh did I miss something? When did he ever negotiate in good faith with the Dems? lol So he wants to kill the ACA and wants the Dems to participate in that? Wow…Talk about delusional…

Mulvaney is the single worst person in the Trump administration. He puts the monkey in monkey wrench, the monkey wrench he is actively trying to throw into the governance of the United States of America.

Hey Mulvaney. There’s a little thing called the veto You may want to let Trump know what that is. Dare you to use it.

What a weak little sniveler. This crisis barely passed and his mouth is already writing checks that he can’t keep. Sad.

“Linda McMahon”
So is Ambassador to Sicily cabinet level?

As so many have said, bring this on. If he thinks things are bad now, the idea of a Rethug House, Senate and WH at each others throats in September with Dems sitting back and making plans for the 2018 elections, would be a sight to behold.

Didn’t he recently try and sell the idea that funding for the Wall was important to health care?

“I think the President is frustrated with the fact that he negotiated in good faith with the Democrats and they went out to try and spike the football and make him look bad,”

…and they have the nerve to call liberals “snowflakes”…???

And you notice Pres. Obama didn’t sit on Twitter whining about it either.

That’s the difference between a good leader and a mentally scared boy who is just playing one.

Have I mentioned before how we’re screwed…for at least 4 YEARS :worried:
