Another “fine person” Trump would love to hang out with. I’ll bet the stats show that during Trump’s horrific presidency there has been a huge increase in these sorts of race/religious hate crimes. Trump has nurtured and sanctioned violence among his deplorable base, and it will be unbelievably bad when Trump loses in 2020; he’ll tell his crazy base to start a war.

From KGTV news San Diego:
One person, described only as a man, has been detained for questioning the sheriff’s office said.
10News learned that at least two people were shot and have been hospitalized.
One of the victims, a rabbi conducting service, suffered hand injuries. His condition is unknown at this time. A witness told 10News that despite his injuries, the rabbi was trying to calm worshippers and the gunman.

just read here the rabbi attempted to calm the shooter and congregation—and they’ve said all along he lost two fingers, so he may have grabbed the gun. My guess anyway. Selfless.

Lot of people being targeted because of their faith or immigrant status in these past few years. This happened a couple of days ago in California:
SAN FRANCISCO – An Iraq War veteran deliberately drove into a group of pedestrians because he thought some of the people were Muslim, California authorities said Friday.
Isaiah Joel Peoples, 34, faces eight counts of attempted murder for injuring eight people, including four who remain hospitalized. The most seriously injured is a 13-year-old Sunnyvale girl of South Asian descent who is in a coma with severe brain trauma.
“New evidence shows that the defendant intentionally targeted the victims based on their race and his belief that they were of the Muslim faith,” Sunnyvale police chief Phan Ngo said.
