The apparent significance of this revelation isn’t that Nader this undermines Nader’s status as a witness for the prosecution but that people hostile to the prosecution are trying to silence Nader by threatening to reveal incriminating or disgraceful evidence. That’s how I read his lawyer’s statement on the matter.

Depends on whats he has. If he had documents, emails, etc., that is still real evidence. Same if he corroborates other testimony.
Not sure that would grab enough attention since it is believable of so many of donnie’s pals. Gotta throw in the pedophilia, though even that distinction has already been true of a Trump ally. It is getting harder and harder for journalists to come up with a headline that is surprising.

If he’s actually needed in court, my guess is that info is likely to be ruled inadmissible. Highly prejudicial, low probative value. It’s not a like a crime that indicates propensity for telling lies.
On a side note, we now know that it probably wasn’t Nader that Cohen was meeting with in Prague…
