Good thing I had my fainting couch nearby.
Barr has no credibility left. He should resign, be disbarred, and face a consequence for lying to Congress and to the American people. ETTD.
Dis-Barr-ed?
If true, it’s time for an Inspector General probe of Trump’s Cohn-Barr
The real show begins now.
So, Barr lied to Congress in saying he had no Idea what Mueller thought about his “conclusions”.
Hmm. The hits just keep on comin’.
I dare say that there’s a wee bit of drama going on at DOJ for this to leak right before Barr testifies.
One can’t help but wonder if Rosenstein played a hand in this leaking out. Washington knife fights are fascinating…
Mueller was concerned in particular with how the news media was characterizing the obstruction inquiry, DOJ officials told the Washington Post.
Meaning what?
Baghdad Bill vs. Bobby Three Sticks. Career hack vs. career pro. Only one wins this and it won’t be Trump’s latest legal lapdog. Bad things tend to happen to them.
“The summary letter the Department sent to Congress and released to the public late in the afternoon of March 24 did not fully capture the context, nature, and substance
“Contex, nature, and substance.” What’s left?
This does not reflect on Rosenstein either. He licks Trumps nether regions and then this happens. It’s like everytime. People learn your lesson.
Good point and I wouldn’t be surprised. In such an environment insiders generally don’t have the luxury of guileless transparency. You either play the game or the game plays you.

It’s closing time for this Barr.
Will anyone on the committee ask Barr if his phone conversation with Mueller was recorded?
I would urge you to read Josh’s piece today on Rosenstein. Few things (people, especially) are ever as simple as they may seem.
Mueller wasn’t the only person confused. I would say there’s roughly 3 million more just in the USofA.
Unlikely that Barr will show on Thursday. So, get Mueller to testify and subpoena Barr’s fat ass to appear.
So Mueller actually cares about his reputation and place in the history books? That’s good. Maybe not good enough in hindsight, with how he declined to indict.
Let’s see what the House can do with this, when Mueller appears before a committee hearing. And it would be nice if it was a public hearing.
