If I applied for a job - any kind of job - and they did a background check and found that I was convicted on child porn charges even as long ago as 28 years, I would never get hired.

^^^This.^^^ It appears he was charged a year-and-a-half ago and Mueller used that to squeeze him for info. Now the Barr DOJ is reneging on the deal and is going to try to use it to taint any evidence deriving from him.

My next door neighbor is 61. Has a 1980 old dodge van that he uses mostly for hauling his surfboards. He’s also really good at those games where you get stuffed animals out of a box, using the crane like thing… One day he suddenly realized he was driving around in a closed van full of kids stuffed toys, thought to himself “this is not a good look!” and made am immediate run to one of the local thrift stores

Not sure about this. Just because you’re a cooperating witness doesn’t mean you can’t be arrested, if the prosecution decides you aren’t being useful.
