I’m fairly certain there’s a logical and reasonable explanation for all 400,000 items.
The underlying message: I have 400,000 pieces of evidence against you, asshole.
I suppose if you had a single email that appears on several devices, thus proving who read it, you would have to document each one separately.
One, Mueller must have an army of gophers just to gather and copy the data together.
Two, was it organized in some form, or did someone trip on the way over with the boxes?
Three, if electronic, did they stay with 8.3 conventions for file naming including alpha and numeric naming?
Four, Someone is going to have to hire a whole bunch of paralegals now.
That appears to be something of an avalanche.
Manafort better hope all his checks from Putin are good; his legal fees are gonna shock even him.
It’s probably all electronic, and they are named with original file names and a sequential numeric code (called a Bates number, from the days when this stuff was done on paper with an actual numbering stamp called a Bates stamp), probably with a separate ID for each page, unless they are getting tiff files, in which case, it’s just the sequential numeric code. They probably just run searches against a database. If they need to see an original, they probably have to go to a government office to do so, since it all has to stay in the documented chain of custody to use it as evidence.
He can always pawn or sell his million dollar oriental rug collection…
Spoil sport.
But appreciated.
Putting the pressure on Manafort. So he pleads guilty & gives up a higher up.
Every step taken down this road makes it harder for Trump to shut this thing down. Every step is a nail in that coffin.
I keep asking myself questions like, “what does Mueller know that the public doesn’t already know?”
This dump may start to answer that. With pieces of evidence numbering in the 100s of thousands, I am led to believe he knows A LOT that the public doesn’t know. I hope this is continuously and forcefully confirmed over the next few months.
He can shut it down, but it will never go away. He has insured his place in history.
Consider how much of the citizenry he has lost.
Consider the variety of groups he has insulted, denigrated and attempted to trash.
Psh…Is that all you got?
Wasn’t it the accountants who took Capone down?
Just saying.
All it takes is one.
…and the citizens are getting pretty imaginative.

I was reading Flake’s airplane debate on twitter… found this gem hahaha
I believe it was Capone saying “I own the place” when the “Smoke Shop” was busted. And Capone was much, much better at avoiding self-incrimination than this bunch.
Just routine. Feds have to turn this stuff over on request.
