Very interesting. I think its useful to focus on who has not been interviewed, which tells us who is in the cross hairs of the investigation:

(1) Mueller has not interviewed Roger Stone, but has been interviewing everyone connected with Stone. Given that Stone is linked in with the 12 russians, My guess is that he is next to get indicted, but Mueller will not do so until he has rapped up his interviews, Miller appears to be the stumbling block. My guess is that if Mueller had everything nailed down Stone would have been indicted with the 12 russians. And note, you don’t oppose a subpeona to testify unless you have a lot to hide.

(2) I would be really surprised if there is not more in Russian support for the NRA. Mueller is methodical, and I have not seen any reports that he has been interviewing those in the NRA. This said, he likely has the tax/banking records of the NRA. My guess is that Mueller has held off calling in NRA figures for interviews as he wants to build up as many indictments/pleas, and have concluded as much of his investigation as possible before starting to pull in NRA figures, which might cause some political push back. I think the Butina indictment was done early, to prevent her fleeing. Clearly Mueller believed that she would flee when the 12 Russians were indicted.

(3) Mueller has not interviewed Don, Jr… This is very interesting given Don Jr.’s involvement with the NRA, and also the initial Russian outreach (including his e-mails asking for dirt), as well as the evidence that Don Jr. was talking with Wikileaks. OTOH, Mueller has interviewed Kushner TWICE, one time for a week, and then a second time for a full day. http://thehill.com/blogs/blog-briefing-room/389099-jared-kushners-second-interview-with-special-counsel-took-7-hours Why would this be? Well I would speculate that (a) Mueller has further signal intelligence/intercepts/documents on Don, Jr. tying him into a conspiracy, while Kushner was relatively clean, and (b) Muller is betting the indicting Don Jr. might cause Trump to try to pardon him/end the investigation. Put another way, I think Don Jr. is really, really vulnerable, Kushner likely is not.

(4) Mueller has not interviewed Brad Perscale, Trump’s “digital director” and also a person who (a) trump named as his 2020 campaign chair, and (b) someone who interacted with Cambridge Analytica. While Mueller has not interviewed him, the House Did, and Democrats complained he refused to answer and tried avoid questions re Russia. See https://www.politico.com/story/2018/03/19/trump-russian-digital-parscale-470263 Given how central the question of where the Russians got their rather sophisticated understanding of Facebook targeting from is not explained, my guess is that Perscale is in the cross hairs, and they are not going to ask to interview him until the very end (and likely after they get Manafort to flip).

(5) Alexander Nix has not been interviewed. When the House Republicans interviewed him it was described by Nix as “after five minutes – done” http://thehill.com/homenews/house/379391-schiff-cambridge-analytica-ceos-mocking-description-of-gop-all-too-accurate Its possible that Mueller can’t get access to Nix, but given what the British have found, and particularly that many folks from Camberage Analytica likely illegally worked on a US campaign, something is going on… (and Again, Mueller may be waiting to see if Manafort will flip).

(6) And of course Trump.

None of the five witnesses for whom Mueller wants immunity has been publicly known as a witness up to now.

I don’t know what I’m talking about. Just speculating. Someone here said these witnesses might be accountants – that sort of thing, people who know where the bodies are buried

I think you’re mistaken. It seems to me that the vinegar is lapping at Roger’s ears and they"re about to seal the barrel.

After the recent indictments, I would think this guy is looking to cooperate with Mueller.

I wonder if the NRA would be OK with forbidding Sasquatches from possessing guns, or if that would be considered a slippery slope.

If this thing ends without Stone doing a perp walk my life will be a little less happy.

The 2d Amendment doesn’t mention humans - it says “the right to bear arms shall not be …”

So, sure the NRA would be in favor of Sasquatch having guns.

short answer NO. Stone has not been interviewed. What happens is that the FBI/Mueller will interview witnesses who have 5th Amendment issues using a team of lawyers who are walled off and agree not to use the information. Its a form of pro-offer. But before the person testifies (or gives final details) a judge must approve use immunity.

Yes, I know.
Hence my answer that you referenced.

Accountancy is apparently much more interesting - and macabre - than I thought.

You do realize that organized crime and people like Trump employ CPAs?

Few years back I was acquainted with a CPA who took a new job, quit in about 2 weeks. I asked him why. He said they wanted him to keep 2 sets of books. Not for him. We can be sure they found a guy to do that.

Thank you, meri! That was almost exactly my first thought! ROFLMAO!!!

In theory, anyway, tena. However, as Sasquatch is brown… I wonder if they agree he has 2nd Amendment rights?
