Discussion: Mueller Suggested Subpoena of Trump During Meeting With POTUS Lawyers

Good point. Which is the major problem with people who want to suggest that Mueller’s team leaked it.

Mueller’s team never had this list of questions. So they couldn’t have leaked it. This could only have come from someone deep in Trump camp.

What treasonweasel on dotard’s team who had access to this info would still be talking to Bannon?

Total game of thrones mishegas going on here.

" I will say though, that at some point, Mueller will start putting stuff out there for the public/Congress/media to take in, not just the GJ and Courts."

Yes. And it does seem that that point is coming sooner rather than later. Maddow last night also noted that Flynn’s sentencing was delayed another 60 days, rather than the 90 days of the first delay. An indication of the time frame that Mueller is anticipating for all of this?

Trump himself of course. I threw out Bannon as a name, because this plays in his wheelhouse. But there are any number of people that Trump talks to all the time, even including people who have left his “orbit”, such as Lewandowski (unlikely, as he still wants a job from Trump) or Priebus (who has his own legal issues, so is definitely a possibility).

Mueller’s team doesn’t leak and isn’t going to start now.

I’ve wondered about that too–

The legal people are saying that Flynn is still being useful so they don’t want to sentence him yet.

Well I’m kinda hoping like the rest of us they’ll go “meh, what a dick…” and default to their OWN pre 2015 image of him ie. a gormless buffoon who pretty much failed at everything and who was never ever cool.

Otherwise it’s them then admitting to and embracing the utter embarrassment of choosing to vote for someone most people on this planet have regarded as the punchline to a joke for decades.

Poor wee deplorables, self-awareness is not their friend.

I’ve seen people claim that Mueller is intending to drop his first report on Congress as early as this month (May), and that it would be covering various OOJ issues.

I question that, personally. I think Mueller would want to roll up some other people…most notably Kushner, but a few others as well…before going to Congress. It seems likely that he would want to pursue the criminal case against Manafort (and possibly drop even more charges on him, directly related to the 2016 campaign), as that seems to be his method of getting Manafort’s “confession”…prove the case against him, and let that evidence from the trial serve the same purpose as a confession.

Also, it seems more logical to make the case for the underlying crimes before making the case for obstruction. Mueller already knows for example, that Trump’s lawyers will argue that Trump can fire anyone that works for him, including Comey, whenever he wants to. And if there is no underlying crime, such a firing can’t be considered obstruction.

Why didn’t he capitalize Setup &Trap?

holy: I never thought of this, but Bannon is the counterpart of who? — 19thC Russian nihilists? a Che Guevera? A Hitler in his Beer Hall putsch days. They’re in for the long haul and if innocent people die, well that’s just the way revolutions work.

They’ve already installed the manufactured some of the tools of fascism: Lying press, a tool of Deep State or a 5th column.
Gotta have liberal back-stabbers and counter-revolutionaries.

I see what you’re getting at here but somebody much smarter than me will have to answer the counterpart question. I just know it’s ugly, wrong, and I’m pissed.

My money’s on Dotard or Lewandowski. He was spinning some shit on MTP yesterday about the leaked questions.

Why didn’t he capitalize Setup &Trap?

that’s wispering: “psst, that is a setup and trap”…

“You are screwing with the work of the President of the United States.”

Donald has never done a days work in his life, especially as president.

If I recall correctly, Maddow was talking about Dowd’s offer to Flynn of a pardon that was putting him in the legal weeds.

And donald is screwing with the rule of law, justice, the constitution and norms of our country. I vote law, justice, presidential norms & constitution over donald.

 Your movie image is good…

Then they show Donald sitting at his desk shuffling some paper and pretending to read them…
