Yeah, that negotiation will have one of two outcomes:

  1. It never happens, or

  2. It happens so late in the process that it’ll merely be an exercise in presenting how much Mueller’s team knows, and learning how much of it Trump will lie about. And also whether Trump will have an aneurysm once he finds out how royally screwed he is.

Could the departure of two people involved with the Manafort investigation indicate the level of cooperation Mueller is now receiving from him?

I was thinking that could welll be the case.
And of course, Mr. Cohen has been having conversations too. Perhaps the Special Counsel feels they have the money laundering aspect pretty well covered?
