Manafucked.
Iâll give another one - 25 years probated vs. life to do. That was one angry convicted felon.
You had me at âPink Floydâ
Iâm thinking Manafort in particular. Unless he has something incredibly valuable (e.g. trump on paper or recorded) heâs looking at a longer sentence than Gates, which at his age likely means dying in prison anyway. And if he sings, heâs quite plausibly looking at dying sooner than actuarially expected wherever he may be. So the upside of pleading out is much lower for him. He might still cut a deal, but I think itâs to his advantage to be as loudly opposed to a plea as possible for as long as possible, if only to postpone trouble.
Iâll say one thing it sure has been quiet from Nunes and crowd lately.
There was also that time when he said this:
In every town large enough to have two traffic lights there is a bar at the back of which sits the local Donald Trump, nursing his fifth beer and innumerable delusions.
When the obvious truth isnât distasteful to him he can sometimes state it pithily. Usually heâs making bogus arguments against the obvious truth, but he can in fact do that other thing, as we see.
Devin Nunes has been awful quiet recently. Didnât he promise us more memos? Is it too much to hope he slithers back under the rock he crawled out from?
Whoâ knew they were all ambidextrous or metrosexual? hahahahahahahahaha
The predictable thing about greed is it eventually takes over entirely and eats its host alive. If people like Man-o-fart knew when to quit, theyâd probably get away with it. If someone embezzles millions of dollars (or gets it from questionable sources) and then fails to pay taxes on it, he gets what he deserves. 10 Million Dollars after tax is far more valuable than 14 Million dirty dollars. Who canât live with 10 million in the bank? Anyway, this is what nailed Capone and many other gangsters. Man-o-fartâs other problem is Putin; Vlad doesnât take kindly to snitches. That stack of Polonium-laced bodies over there sort of explains how he feels.
Will falls into the same category as Frum for me. While weâre deep in Fat Nixonâs badministration, the enemy of my enemy is my⌠not enemy
When this is all over and the anti-King Tub cons go back to their conning ways, I doubt I will still be in agreement with much of their views. Weâll see where Nicole Wallace and Steve Schmidt fall after this dust clears but Iâll miss them both if they revert back to form.
@howardbeale - youâre right! There were supposed to be 3 memos from Camp Nunes - wonder what happened to 2 and 3? Meanwhile, we never did see the Demâs response and probably never will.
Where is your (blame it all on the) evil twin when you need him?
So you believe in multiversity?
Mattinpa and Manaforte sittinâ in a tree
k-i-ss-i-n-g!
enough with such foolishness, or I shall taunt you a second time.
I believe in multiple universes which means in some universe right now Manafort and Gates are being hung as traitors.
The marital shenanigans of both George Will and David Brooks lay to rest any notion that the âconservative intellectualsâ are anything more than paid shills for the rich, without any real convictions of their own.

"One might be surprised to read, in other words, that in the 1980s, while
still married to his first wife, Will was romantically linked to Lally
Weymouth, daughter of Washington Post owner Katharine Graham, according to Washingtonian
magazine (1/87). When Will moved out on his wife and children, he found
his office furniture dumped on his front lawn with a note reading,
âTake it somewhere else, busterâ (Salon, 2/12/98). "
âConservative columnist for the New York Times, David Brooks, recently wed his former researcher assistant,
Anne Snyder, who is 23 years younger than he is. Old dude trades in
first wife for younger model, not exactly breaking news here.â
Iâd suggest hanged, but I love the idea either way.
Well, conservatives gonna conservative. The fact that the GOP has crossed the line beyond where many of its former supporters could go doesnât make them no longer moderately conservative. Have to give them some credit for deciding there was a line in the first place.
Sounds like he has 2 choices left.
- die in prison as a brother comrade in felonies.
- Plead out, take trump down and get out of prison just before he dies.
mmmmmm whatcha gonna do when they come for you and getcha?
lol
For Your Consideration
- Manafort is fucked.
- Manafort personally selected one Mike susPence to be Putinâs Cockholsterâs running mate; they are joined at the hip.
- If Manafort should eventually decide to go for a plea deal, this will not bode well for Vice President Q-Tip Impersonator, much to the chagrin of Mother.
- Itâs possible Paul rAyn may subsequently go down in history as #44 on the next Presidents and Executive Politics Presidential Greatness Survey, which ranks presidents from best to worst. This will no doubt be much welcomed news to the descendants of James Buchanan, who will see his ranking skyrocket to third Worst. President. Ever.
Just sayinâ.
Yeah youâre right.
