Discussion: Mueller Fears Russian Intel May Use Criminal Case To Obtain Sensitive Info

Or any Republican. Nunes and Rohrabacher are not the only Republicans compromised, you can’t trust any of them.

Just take a step back and marvel at the position Trump has put the country in. No doubt he couldn’t care less how much US national security suffers.

While I do admire Mueller and his team, no they cannot single-handedly save our country. Even if Spanky were found guilty of money laundering and conspiracy against the United States, that alone would not save the country. Spanky is only a symptom, not the cause, of our nation’s problems. Until we address the cause, the U.S. will continue to decline.

Yeah, “I quit” is what passes for moral fiber in the Republican party these days. Why not do your job and try to fix the anti-democratic party of bigots and all around criminal enterprise your chosen political party has become? Not that tough I guess.

Need to read the filing in full, but I think there is great strategic value for Mueller to indict Donald Trump Jr and Jared Kushner in connection with the as of yet unnamed, unindicted people that Mueller makes direct reference to in this filing

“…the substance of the government’s evidence identifies uncharged individuals and entities that the government believes are continuing to engage in interference operations like those charged in the present indictment.”

Based on what we know, Donald Trump Jr had regular contact with Wikileaks, was very likely aware of Papadopoulos’ and Page’s efforts to get support and cooperation from the Russians, and had his own initiatives to seek campaign help, including disinformation campaigns (Russia, UAE/Saudi Arabia, NRA). Jared Kushner was the head of the digital program, which appears to have coordinated email and social media targeting efforts with Russian sources like the Internet Research Agency + Cambridge Analytica. If Mueller were to tie these two in the same indicting document with the other supporters of Concord, Internet Research Agency and other RU Intel fronts, it would lend a tremendous amount of legitimacy that might just break apart Trump’s support enough to send him into free fall.

This thing got over my head today…I hope you are right.

I know one thing though…I am tired of being scared and ready to see some ass kicked.

True. We need to cut out the main tumor and then we can start to deal with the damage left behind. There is a lot of work to do but if the main tumor is not removed the patient will die for sure. Our country has suffered and will continue to do so, but at least we will live to fight another day. It will take years, if not decades, to undo the damage these undemocratic losers have done.
