If you read the report, this ‘I do not recall’ dodge is one of the reason the Special Counsel decided not to indict Sessions for declaring under oath that he had no contact with the Russians (he had multiple contacts), because they found the defense “reasonable”.
A report quote from another article today-
“We noted, among other things, that the President stated on more than 30 occasions that he does not ‘recall’ or ‘remember’ or have an ‘independent recollection’ of information called for by the questions.” (pg. 417)

No matter what they say, the end result of all such episodes will make it appear to an alien, who does not know the details and is unbiased, that the Dems are the Repubs’ bitches.

It looks like treason runs in the Burr lineage, it apparently just skipped a number of generations.
Ah, the slimy, inevitable equivocation continues. Burr “may have”, “possibly”, “appears to have”, “allegedly”, “very likely”, “is rumored to have”. The entire world knows Trump and the GOP congress have conspired to derail Mueller’s investigation, including Trump’s brazen firing of Comey in order to take care of “this Russia thing”. But, in spite of an avalanche of evidence, Trump’s statements on the record, and rock-solid testimony by insiders, Trump and his crime syndicate administration are walking away scot-free. Every report on this criminal administration is equivocal, hedged and otherwise nothing more than hopeful suggestions that something may have been rotten in Denmark. If Trump gets away with his staggering crime spree, then the rule of law is dead; it’s all a cynical game and our country is officially a banana republic.

The report is replete with.multiple exudes firmReoubkican.missed often based on claims of faulty memories and/or purity of heart.
They do benefit from a presumption of statesmanship and decorum that anyone not from the old CSA doesn’t get. I think it’s just a reaction to their 150 years of relentless whining about their “honor”, everyone knows whenever they challenge a CSA politician they’re gonna hear such a load of that pathetic bullshit they just throw up their hands and say “fuck it, it ain’t worth the noise.”

Yes, he is apparently a 12th cousin. He is apparently not in the direct line from Aaron Burr, who had only one daughter who died at the age of 29 in a shipwreck. She was survived by one daughter. This relationship is pretty distant but the treason genes must be strong.
