Almost as if the whole distraction had been staged or something

Isn’t this a disgusting cycle? We’ve lost our senses.

Eerie isn’t it?

I have a difficult time watching a news show knowing one of the two hosts fears sleeping on the couch while he’s formulating his comments.

My hearing is OK but I don’t smell the coffee like I used to.

One of the things that strikes me about “House of Cards” is how easily and well various actual news personalities play themselves, and what they do on the air, in the show.
That is not meant as a compliment.

"
reached their biggest audience ever when they talked Friday about President Donald Trump’s tweets about their show."

I knew that would happen. (Not that it takes a genius to figure that out.)

I don’t like the show or Mika and Joe, but I do love that their higher ratings will drive donnie nuts. Though he will probably take credit. Next thing we know, they will invite him on the show. Sigh
.

Did Spicebunny come up with this audience estimate?

A couple of soft-right gasbags being criticized by a nebulous, narcissistic cypher. Some drama.

All three of them, i.e. Mika, Joe, and Donnie, are despicable. It’s just that Donnie is off the charts.

I’ve been saying for months these are not serious people. Jumped-up-Jenny-in-a-sidecar.

Fine, but unfortunately this is a largely right-driven show.

One that insists on “decency of discourse,” but still one that attempts to justify rightist themes.

Here’s how that’s wrong:

Bernie is correct, but his message isn’t delivered by the “leftist” Mika. Bernie is 1000% correct. Step up, Mika, or shut up.

Mika offers (sexual role defined?) little more than a few occasional chippy comments that are supposed to represent leftist view. Hear this: my grandfather was a shoemaker, fix-it guy and eventual truck driver, and he retired with 3 homes. Tell me how a shoemaker, fix-it guy and truck driver does that today, Mika. As a creator of real, actual wealth wouldn’t someone like that deserve more today? Mika, you don’t represent the “left,” your role is subservient to your future husband’s. One of the oppressors. You’re not a “leftist,” you’re an apologist for rightist views.

Joe Scarborough is part of the problem, NOT the solution. Americans used to be among the most generous-minded in the world. We could afford to be. Where’s the humanity in promoting a conflict with a pig? Does that make you a “victim” like the rest of us? Or does that only make you wealthy for no reason beyond your being prominently attacked by a wealthy pig? There must be some money in that.

What about the rest of us? We can’t be attacked by a prominent pig, we can only suffer from his policies. If we were “prominent,” we could maybe make a few bux, if we were only into today’s “Internet prominence.”

In the Internet age, it’s easy to forget that America is about its workers. Workers who struggle and die every day in factories, in environments that can and do kill them. Workers whose pension funds are more and more often raided by corporations with a wink and tacit approval by
 people by you, Joe Scarborough.

“Morning Joe,” please, I have no problem with you, you might be the most opportunistic of Americans, but that’s the way of the world now, I guess. But if you could trouble yourselves to this extent: don’t forget the rest of us.
