Discussion: MSNBC Projects Republicans Will Keep Control Of The House

I never thought Dems would win the House back but so long as we can cut into their majority by some serious numbers I’ll be a happy camper…

Any news on the electoral map thingie we’re supposed to be using right now?

Down since that “Clinton Wins WV” faux pas

Frustrating!!! Grrrrr…

The one at WaPo is working very well. No firewall today or tomorrow, either.

Yep. But, we need the Senate. Illinois did our part with Tammy. But, c’mon NH, PA, WI, NC, MO. All my canvassing and calls the past week have been in Missouri. Gotta shake up the neighbors.

Impeachment hearings begin 1/21/17.

At this point, I am SO goddamn angry at some of the sh*tweasels in this country, I’d LOVE to see Paul Ryan stabbed in the back repeatedly by the “Freedom Caucus.”

What Rump never understood was, IF - IF - he were to win, that same scenario still stands.

Then, it’s President Mike Pence. And “The Handmaid’s Tale” becomes a very stark reality.

Last I heard, there’s a good chance he will be. As I understand it, they’re not happy with him. I’m shocked. Shocked, I tell you.

Pence is a true believer wingnut theocrat. The Senate Democrats would be forced to keep Trump. I need more vodka.

Nope.

I heard that some Rethugs were planning on a scenario of just this and its one of the reasons why Republican Senate leadership wasnt too excised about Rump if he wins and they keep the Senate. Rump wins, gets sworn in, gets impeached and pushed aside for Pres.Pence. I’m not joking.

34 Democratic Senators can keep Pence out of the big chair.

I swear, I thought Virginia wasn’t going to be this tight. 87% precincts reporting and HO is winning by 2%. I’m hoping there’s a treasure trove of votes still left in Alexandria, Fairfax, etc. Charlottesville and Albemarle County is almost all tapped out.

ETA: I just checked back and noticed the City of Manassas hasn’t reported any of its tallies. Don’t know why, but it’s usually a solid blue city. Still, this is a lot closer than I expected.

Control may be too strong of a word but they’ll retain the majority and still do nothing with it because it’s what they do, or don’t do in this case.
