I kinda thought one of our law-knowing friends would break it down that way. In my layperson’s experience the cops can take you in any time they feel like if you’re making even the slightest nuisance of yourself (or if you’re not too), and they probably have a sense of what the DA’s office would go to bat for them over. But they have to feel like hassling you in the first place.
That sounds familiar, just can’t place it though. Har! Anyway yeah, there are nice Texans right here on the board. But from what I hear Dallas is the derpological epicenter and just for yucks, you want to talk about thousands of people cheering? Dallas schoolchildren cheered when they heard Kennedy had been assassinated. Fact, well documented. Decades before Limbaugh, Beck, O’Reilly and the rest of the roundworms.

LOL, you scared me. I know tons of Muslims that live in Irvine, CA and I hadn’t heard of any problems there. OTH, Irving, TX seems to be a hotbed of problems…

Noting the FOX4 chyron lower-left-- this was reported to the locals in D/FW as a protest.
While good that this type of story is being broadcast on a FOX affiliate-- it’s so far from being simply a protest-- and reeks of intimidation to anyone rational.

In the novel, The Odessa File, there was a very good plot involving the son of a Wehrmacht soldier and some revelations he experienced. In addition, there was a strong series of passages involving the use of money to absolve guilt (at least on earth). Donald Trump is in a class of people which routinely escapes guilt. It has a lot to do with ignorance…but it has mostly to do with what gets said about the acts. If there is any “rabbit hole” we are in, it is significantly related to the synchronization of the Fourth Estate with those sister social structures as well as elites it protects.
Not sure if that is being entirely fair since Texass sends a number of its national embarrassments to congress where they are constantly on display.

Oh I remember it so well. I wads working in Washington DC at the time and in fact worked right across from the WH and watched as limousines piled into the WH. I remember going home that night (we were all told you leave work early) and watched TV all night. I was very young at the time and couldn’t believe anyone could cheer the death of our beloved President.

It’s interesting to me, JayDub, that the still they’ve pulled makes it very clear how intimidating this would be to the worshipers. Armed masked man following an unarmed woman, that jolly well speaks for itself. Maybe there’s a local producer who wants people to understand what the hell was going on there on that sidewalk today, never mind what the Fox overlords want people to think. We’ll never know but it does strike me and make me wonder.

For all the guns they have, gun nuts are the most frightened group of sissies I’ve ever come across. Their God fearing, all-fearing Christian upbringing has rendered them incapable of discerning what is a real threat to their person.
My Lord… what the hell are you so scared of that you need to walk around with an assault rifle like a goddamn idiot stalking people who dress funny? Are you afraid ISIS? I hope not, because if you’re scared of them, they’ve already won. Go to northern Syria if you want to encounter and / or shoot dangerous (so called) Muslims.
… or… stay in Texas and continue to hang out with your current group of gun buddies if you want to encounter dangerous (so called) Christians.

Dear Irving police officers,
Please do something about this guy, or I’ll go and tell him about all the Muslim infiltrators on the Irving police force, and how they probably need a watchful patriot keeping an eye on their houses. He’ll believe me, too, because he’s that stupid, and you know it.
Do it for pride, if nothing else. One look at him tells anyone who wants to know that the police aren’t shit in your town.
