There was general fake agreement that no blame was directed at the rapper, who shouldāve minded his Fās anā Nās, and the need for more and more tap dancing er, conversation.

Perhaps Ms. Brzezinski should decide who she is and who she wants to be and then be that. Sheās smart so why not be that? Sheās supposed to be a voice of reason so why not be that? Why jump on the GOPāer āall over the placeā wagon? Ask them if they arenāt the "accept personal responsibility ) crowd, at least in talk, so why doesnāt their credo apply here. She doesnāt have to make lame equivalencies. She does not owe them that nor do they deserve that. They sure as hell never do it for her.
The take home message is the GOPāer response to it. Itās a gross act of racism, institutional at that, and yet they see fit to excuse it away. To them it doesnāt deserve criticism it deserves an excuse that relies on impugning a Black guy that had fucking nothing to do with it. Each time this crap comes out the GOP makes the Black guy a thug or the White guy a victim. A Black guy is always the problem and the White guy always has an excuse.
