Hope for good news. But right now, Iā€™m resigning myself to Moore winning and steering clear of the news for the rest of the night. Tonight, Iā€™ll turn my wake up station on my alarm from the local NPR station to the jazz station. And then, tomorrow, Iā€™ll get up, feed the cat, make coffee, shuffle into my office and see whether Iā€™ve been pleasantly surprised or my current expectations were met.

McConnell indicated he will not sit either Jones or Moore before the end of the year. So yeahā€¦its definitely getting more surreal.

One thing Obama struggled with until at least his last term, if not his last yearā€¦and something that Hillary understood for a long timeā€¦is just how deeply partisan the other side is. There is no standard they wonā€™t blow through to get this agenda completed. None.
