It seems that all of the quibbles are about how, exactly, we’re going to make people’s healthcare worse. What a shame that not one of these Republicans opposes the bill because it fails to make healthcare better.

But Freedom! No, seriously. The official republican explanation is that it makes you healthcare better because you won’t be hemmed in by regulations. Better to die unregulated than to live by government fiat.
