Discussion: Mnuchin: White House Is 'Very Happy' With Trump Making A Deal With Dems

Whiny would rather eat a bag of dicks on camera than admit he got rolled.

Mnuchin looks like Pete Rozelle when he had to hand the Lombardi Trophy to Al Davis,

Difference between “White House” and “Trump”? Not the same thing?

Is Donald Trump an undercover Democrat?

No.

The White House is “very happy” with something the President did?

Only in the Trump Administration could that possibly be news. Under any other President, that would be taken for granted.

“We’ve very happy that we have a deal,”

Congress isn’t

Maybe Trump doesn’t expect to make it to December in the White House, so he really doesn’t give a crap of what happens then?

Does anyone know if Ivanka has already set up a Christmas in the White House? It would be a major disappointment if her kids didn’t get to celebrate a Christmas in the WH, even if it’s in September? Or maybe setting Menorahs?

The operation of America’s fourth largest city is not important.

Funneling our tax dollars to billionaires is.

I enjoyed Josh’s trolling.

Treasury Secretary Steve Mnuchin on Thursday said the White House is “very comfortable” with a deal President Donald Trump

Except when you’re referring to the physical building, “the White House” basically means the president. So Trump is comfortable with what Trump did? Well, what a relief.

(And this isn’t a criticism of the TPM author. I fully believe Mnuchin said something to this effect, since anything else would have put HIMSELF in the position of endorsing it, which he clearly does not, given that there’s already been reportage of him trying to talk Trump down from this.)

Edited to add: It is nice to have a cabinet member on the record praising the wisdom of making a deal with the Democrats. Dems can fix the DACA matter and ACA stability, too.

Need suggestions to fill your hundreds of appointed positions for which you have named no nominees yet? Give us a call.

This “deal” insures absolutely nothing. Let’s see both houses pass the same legislation and send it to Trump for signature. Until then, it’s just cheap talk. I do appreciate that Trump has pissed off the GOP, but that’s just a side dish. Let’s wait until those chickens have hatched before we start making omelettes.

The Art of the Kneel

Thanks for sharing. But shouldn’t that be in quotes if you’re parodying Mnutsack?

and @steviedee111 whoa, whoa, whoa - Fatty was railroaded by an ambitious DA who sought to tie Virginia Rappe’s death to being raped by a fat man who crushed her to death. (My mom even repeated the canard that his raped her with a Coke bottle, and that was 60 years after the trial, which she wasn’t even alive for.) Two hung juries, then a third jury that took 5 minutes to write a statement of apology and a rebuke to the DA’s office before finding Fatty not guilty.

His career crashed and burned. Let’s leave the poor guy alone now.
