I guess if you can point to a CEO listing on your c.v. you’re one of the gang as far as Romney’s concerned. You can be a huge failure, not know a damn thing about the job you’re applying for, be deeply crazy in a way that doesn’t show immediately, all that. I guess to him, your (former) status is all the attribute you need. You don’t have to actually be good at anything.
