That’s really cool.
But maybe the Brainiacs at MIT could start work on robot legislators soon? You know, that would be able to actually work and get things done that benefit their constituents? The human version is proving completely ineffective.
I’m sure if they used lithium batteries they could get them to run longer than the current meat-space version can go between vacations.
Probably be a lot easier than a robotic cheetah…
Maybe MIT can work on really efficient batteries and solar panels so we can drive long distance cars and save the planet for the nest generation. Robots are going to take over the minimum wage jobs so the working poor can become the starving and homeless masses while the filthy rich purchase bigger yachts and jets. Just saying.
This is very old news, the first “cheetah” was on YouTube two years ago at least.
They could call it “SkyNet”.
