The Missouri Compromise arose partly out of the fugitive slave issue in the 1840s. Somebody needs to update Kinder on the fact that fugitive slaves are no longer a thing, so probably isnāt a good idea to have law enforcement behave like it still is. Hands up. Donāt shoot. And not tryinā to run away, sir!

Iāll give him this: the slogan āHands Up, Donāt Shootā may well have been based on a lie ā even the DOJās own reports says as much. But the protests themselves werenāt based upon a slogan ā they were based in reality, a reality that has been percolating for many years, it would appear. Lt. Governor, you are a despicable human being for suggesting otherwise. Seriously, you donāt get it, do you? Or is it that you donāt want to get it? Damn, your soul is ugly.

Iāve been seeing this for weeks now in Comments and Letters section: The REAL cause of civil unrest in Ferguson is ā one or more of: Obama, Holder, outside agitators.
We heard the same things back in the days of Dr. King and the marches and riots in the old Confederacy.

My dear Lt Gov, you, sir, are blind. The St Louis Metropolitan area has been racist since I moved to St. Louis in 1992 and found myself shocked at the amount of racism. Today, I see very little progress. Without those protestors, the tangled mess that Ferguson and other St. Louis communities have cobbled together to fleece minorities would not have been uncovered. So please sit down and shut up.

Iāve lived in the St. Louis area all my life, and I can tell you - itās a pretty racist place. Very segregated, and white folks work hard to keep it that way. Not the cross-burning on your lawn kind of racism; more the unthinking, casual racism thatās become so prevalent throughout the US since 2008. I wonder what caused that?
Kinder has always been an a$$hole - a lying a$$hole at that, since he undoubtedly knows the truth as well as I do. And, he will still never be the Governor.

Someday, someone is going to trace the path of these Official Party Slogans of the Week/Month from the āblackā PR firms in DC through the right wing blogosphere and right wing media and into the mouths of politicians and write a hell of a story that will be instantly dismissed, attacked and ignored.
Itās not a coincidence how all the wingnut trolls in the comments, the talking heads at Fox, the hate radio spewers, and the right wing bloggers all start using the exact same focus group tested words at the exact same time whenever a threat to the integrity of their alternative universe bullshit bubble pops up. And yet, no oneānot the Democrats, not the MSM, not even the muckrakers like TPM, the Rolling Stone, the Guardian, or the Intercept, seem to notice.

Kinder is a corrupt Republican who has been caught several times taking taking bribes which he says were because of religious liberty. The guy is a permanent fixture in strip clubs and country clubs where he socializes with both kinds of whores. He has no idea what goes on in Ferguson much less mainstream America. He probably took the Tom Schweich Jewish whisper campaign all over the state because he was afraid Schweich was personally targeting him for ethics and campaign financing reform.
