Discussion: Mississippi To Bogus 'Election Integrity' Commission: Jump In The Gulf Of Mexico

Now apply that logic to Trump’s tax returns and see if he reaches the same conclusion.

But it’s so much more awe inspiring. Behold the ultimate wrath:

The National Enquirer will pen a smear article on you.

That’ll tear your soul inside out. There’s no coming back from that.

That is precisely why they are doing this. They are attempting to get all the databases from the states that Russia was unable to hack, in order to prepare Russia for even deeper hacks in 2018.

Well, lets be real about something here…Managing their own elections and voter rolls is one of the powers explicitly granted to the states in the Constitution, not under “everything not mentioned is a States right” clause.

What Kobach is attempting to do is to nationalize voter rolls, and even at the very least (and I strongly suspect Kobach has much more grandiose plans in mind) , he wants to run a purge on all voter rolls…as part of the Federal government. Without even a hint at a law granting those powers. (Because such a law would be unconstitutional right off the bat).

Its a blatant attempt at end running around the Constitution. Nor is it “possibly a slippery slope”…there is no where this ends up that is anything but bad for state run elections.

I believe Josh was noting how tyrants fall upon their own first after reaching power. When an entire party is leaning toward monarchical rule, I suppose this is what you get, all the petty tyrants defending their own fiefdoms.

After all, the state-level Rs really don’t give a shit about the integrity of their voter roles, they just want to be the ones who get to purge them for their own purposes.

A Republican who opposes big, intrusive government will not be in the Party for long.

Illinois looks possibly problematic for refusing to assist voter suppression guru Kobach. The Illinois Bd. of Elections may be a creature of the repugnant hack Gov. Rauner.

Yep, that crossed my mind.

Maybe he’s just promotin’ Gulf tourism?
