Discussion: Minnesota Vikings Won't Release 'Damaging And Embarrassing' Report On Homophobic Allegations

Discussion for article #225066

Priefer is one of those good Xtians that calls players faggots to motivate them. It’s good that Kluwe will have the All Star Game as a background for his press conference.

The Vikings are getting a hell of a public subsidy for their new stadium so I hope the politicians push them on this.

Kluwe was not “fired”. His contract was not picked up because the Vikings drafted a young punter to replace him (cheaply) and wanted to reduce their payroll cap (and Fraiser did not like his activism, but that was just happy karma to the team.)
Now Fraiser is gone along with MOST of his incompetent coaching staff. Priefer is “on the bubble” and better produce a more consistent “special teams” this year or he is gone too.

How damaging and embarrassing could it be since everyone pretty much already expects a pro football team to not be a very forward thinking place?

Vikings released a statement in the middle of Kluwe’s press conference. Pretty lame and content free.

Team Statement

I hope he files a civil or criminal suit and they subpoena that shit.

Neither you nor I really know why Kluwe wasn’t kept on the team (unless you happen to be part of the vikings coaching staff). Perhaps if the report was released instead of covered up, we might have some evidence either way.
