Wait. She was arrested in April 2013 and her case won’t go to trial until September 2014? Must be one hell of a backlog in the Minnesota courts. Also, does telling a cop you’re a “reserve cop”, whatever that is, and a lawyer constitute obstruction of justice? Presumably she told the cop this to try to get out of the arrest.

We here in Minnesota as republicans are just a tiny part of the National Republican Party. But you better understand that we are just as uninformed, blind, greedy, resentful, backstabbing, lying ,cheating as every republican is in this country. Let us not be forgotten.

For a second there, I thought TPM had reprinted an article from The Onion. Then I saw “Minnesota GOP.”
I loved the 1990 election season in MN. Arne Carlson came in at the last minute and won it for the GOP. We had a pro-life Dem and a pro-choice Republican running for governor! Paul Wellstone and his brilliant underdog campaign that defeated Rudy Boschwitz. I, like many, split my ticket voting for both Carlson and Wellstone. Then 4 years later the stupid GOP didn’t even endorse Carlson, the sitting governor!
