Why do you say he obviously not get this? The example he gave was someone on color. He did not explicitly call it out but he is focused on the hypocrisy of his nephew and others like him who are white.
Miller’s is a typical immigration story involving several dangerous trips by various family members to America as the first to arrive sent money back to bring the rest of the family to America. Miller’s family worked hard and in a couple of generations (maybe faster) prospered. I am sure many reading this have a similar history.
Miller is well aware of his family history, but is apparently self-loathing. How did such a sick puppy end up in such an important position? Trump’s personal story isn’t much different.
